Memberships

  • Catalan Soccer do not sell places at individual sessions and require block bookings with payment in advance – dates align with Leeds City Council term times.
  • Memberships are invoiced for full-terms only. Half-term payments are only offered at the discretion of management and may incur additional administration fee of £7.50.
  • New registrations will be required to make a debit/credit card payment for the remaining sessions of the forthcoming block to guarantee their child’s place. This may be anything from a 1-15 week payment.
  • Members who fail to make payment by the renewal deadline accept that their place may be offered to a child on our waiting list.
  • The up-to-date calendar can be found on this site via the main menu - there are printed versions available, please ask a member of the coaching team.
  • Free Holiday Camp days may be offered promotionally to new members and are subject to completion of a Direct Debit sign-up. Bookings are subject to availability and suitability on a per day and per child basis. Catalan Soccer reserve the right to refuse bookings where Direct Debit Mandates are unfulfilled or have been cancelled.
  • Free camp days gifted to new members for full-term subscriptions can only be redeemed during an active membership period. Once membership has been cancelled the entitlement will be revoked.
  • Holiday camp payments are required as cash only. Due to associated bank processing fees and increased adminstration, debit card payments will be subject to a £2.50 administration charge.
  • Members that opt for an initial split payment option upon joining, will pay a considerably higher price per class for their first half term to protect Catalan Soccers full term investment in their childs place. The second split-payment for the remaining second half term will be cheaper to bring the overall cost per class down in line with full term pricing.

Auto-Renewal Direct-Debit

  • Upon making payment for your child’s first membership period you will be required to enrol onto the auto-renewal Direct Debit system.
  • Payments will be taken automatically from members’ nominated accounts for future terms unless cancellation is received by the renewal deadline available on the Class Calendar – please note we will not accept cancellation requests by any other means, namely by SMS, MMS, verbally or WhatsApp message.
  • Members can cancel the direct debit with their bank once Catalan Soccer have been notified of the cancellation in writing by email.
  • Members will be pre-notified of any Direct Debit scheduled to leave their account. Queries on amounts and subscriptions must also be raised a clear 10 days before the payment date.
  • Members will be advised of the payment dates for the next term via WhatsApp or email when signing up the Direct Debit system.
  • Members who contact us after the deadline of their next payment date to request a termination of their membership will remain liable for the payment of membership fees for the next period of classes. Requests to cancel renewal made after the deadline will not be processed due to the submission of amounts having already been transmitted to our Direct Debit provider.
  • Members who cancel their Direct Debit instruction without notifying Catalan Soccer in writing, 10 days prior to their next scheduled payment will incur a £15.00 administration fee should they wish to reinstate the Direct Debit and continue their child’s membership.
  • A failed payment fee of £10.00 is payable in the event of a returned direct debit.
  • Catalan Soccer reserve the right to resubmit any failed direct debit collection to avoid your child losing their place, a minimum of 5 working days after the inital payment date.
  • In the event of failed direct debit collection, the debit card used at initial registration may be charged to avoid your child losing their place. Customers should explicitly request that this card not be used should they wish to opt out of this secondary security on their membership.
  • Catalan Soccer reserves the right to immediately terminate the membership of any member who cancels their Direct Debit instruction before their mid-term or next scheduled payment date. No refunds will be given, fees paid will be used to ameliorate the losses to Catalan caused by premature walk-outs.
  • Members that fall below a threshold of 25% attendance across a minimum of 6 weeks may have membership revoked with a refund issued for the remaining classes of the term.
  • If a payment has been taken from your account in error, please let us know by email with supporting evidence and we will issue a refund subject to funds clearing our account.
  • Important - Terminated memberships do not qualify for a refund for the sessions which have already been attended during the current membership period.

Cancellation Terms, Refund & Absence Policy

  • Due to the investments in resourcing and facilities, we do not offer full or partial refunds for absences or members that change their mind and decide no longer to attend classes.
  • Members must read their activation alerts and messages carefully to ensure they attend the dates booked in via the telephone registration & signup.
  • Members that change their mind or have a change of circumstances after registering have 24 hours which to contact us to reverse transactions and withdraw from their registration.
  • Members can opt-out of next terms renewal by email prior to the deadline outlined on the Catalan Calendar - via the website main menu and WhatsApp activation comms.
  • Catalan Soccer cannot be held responsible for changes in circumstances or scheduling that prevents children from attending the classes they are registered for.
  • Catalan Soccer cannot be held liable for injuries that prevent attendance to Catalan classes and are therefore unable to offer refunds or credits for short or long-term injuries.
  • Should your child be absent from sessions due to a long term (12 weeks+) injury please contact a member of the coaching team by email to discuss.
  • Catalan Soccer cannot be held reponsible, and reserve the right not to refund, for classes that are cancelled due to building closures, power outages, government restrictions, monarchy related closures, impromptu Bank-Holidays, force majeure, snow or any other form of adverse weather that may compromise the viability of the classes.
  • Missed sessions cannot be carried over to another block of classes. Please be aware that due to the high occupancy rates and strong attendances at Catalan classes catch-up sessions should not be assumed as available.
  • Where absence on a previous term has occurred, membership fees for the current term will always remain payable in full.
  • Catalan Soccer reserves the right to retain membership fees for sessions that you choose not to or are unable to attend.
  • If a payment has been taken from your account in error, please let us know by email and we will review with a view to refund to card or advise of a DD mandate claim.
  • The dates included for new registrars will be made clear on activation messages via email or WhatsApp.
  • Should Catalan Soccer terminate a parent’s membership solely due a breach of the code of conduct this would subsequently disqualify them from attending future classes. All remaining session fees would be refunded into the bank account from which original membership was paid.
  • Important - Voluntarily terminated memberships do not qualify for a refund for the sessions that have already been attended during the current membership period.
